The Strategic Plan of the Saudi Electronic University 2024–2026
The strategy of the Saudi Electronic University draws upon objectives derived from Saudi Vision 2030, the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, the Strategic Plan of the Ministry of Education, the Human Capability Development Program, and the royal decree establishing the university, in addition to a SWOT analysis of the internal and external environment.
The university’s strategy identifies three main pillars, three strategic goals, and 21 operational objectives, inspired by its unique competitive advantages and implemented through 13 developmental qualitative initiatives.
Operational Objectives
First Strategic Goal:
Deliver high-quality education to a wide range of learners, empowering them to achieve their academic and professional aspirations.

Increase the university’s educational capacity across all branches.

Expand the number of university branches through technology adaptation and local partnerships.

Establish a virtual branch to offer fully online distance learning programs.

Review and develop all undergraduate programs to ensure alignment with labor market needs and national development goals, while adopting more efficient and effective teaching and assessment methods.

Introduce specialized undergraduate programs that help meet labor market demands.

Launch specialized postgraduate programs in partnership with international universities, aligned with local labor market needs and national development priorities.

Develop interdisciplinary academic programs (Bachelor’s and Master’s) that fulfill learners’ academic and professional ambitions.

Introduce micro-learning programs and diploma programs aligned with labor market needs, national development objectives, and professional licensing requirements.

Faculty Professional Development: Design and implement professional training programs for faculty members based on their instructional and professional needs to ensure their active contribution to achieving the university’s strategic objectives.

Development of Student Support and Counseling: Develop and implement a comprehensive plan to enhance student support and counseling services, helping learners overcome challenges throughout their educational journey.

Enhancement of the Learning Environment: Develop and implement a comprehensive plan to improve facilities, equipment, and digital systems across all university branches to ensure they meet the needs and aspirations of students and faculty members.
