SEU's Annual Community Service Competition titled: How Does your Major Contribute to the National Vision?

The Vice Rectorate of Female Student Affairs announces SEU's Annual Community Service Competition titled: How Does your Major Contribute to the National Vision?
The competition targets leaders and Faculty members as well as students at Saudi Electronic University and Saudi Public Universities (Female-only). It will be held online on Wednesday and Thursday 3-4\2\2021.
Goals:
The competition's main goal is to highlight the importance of women's role in achieving the Saudi Vision 2030 by utilizing various scientific fields through the following:
- Understand the Kingdom's vision programs and themes and realize the economic, social and cognitive impact on "Quality of Life".
- Link various science majors at Saudi Electronic University with vision achievements and offer proposals and ideas for further development.
- Emphasize patriotism among the university staff members and spread the culture of competition, creativity and innovation among students to contribute effectively to the future of the Kingdom.
- Enrich the academic community by presenting the latest scientific developments in all disciplines and link them with the Kingdom's Vision 2030.
- Accumulate distinctive recommendations and use them once approved by competent authorities.
Competition Themes:
- The role of various majors in promoting the Vision 2030 a "Vibrant Community", "Thriving Economy" and an “Ambitious Country."
- The role of SEU colleges in fostering development.
- National and international experiments in different areas and their compatibility with the national vision.
Guidelines for Participation:
- Participants should be a faculty member or a student at any university Saudi Public Universities or at any branch of Saudi Electronic University (Female-only).
- More than one member may share one proposal.
- Participants should send their CVs.
- Participants should adhere to CV, PowerPoint presentation, poster, and proposal templates and forms.
Submission Guidelines:
- The content of the submission should be related to the forum's themes and goals.
- The proposal should be original and not plagiarized.
- The proposal should be submitted as follows:
- In Arabic or English and no more than 250 words.
- It should include the title, introduction, problem, general idea and the selected theme from the "themes of the forum".
- The proposal should be submitted before the deadline.
- Participants should proofread their proposals.
- Participants should agree to terms and conditions to authorize printing or publishing their participation on the website or in the booklet of SEU.
Rewards:
Posters Rewards:
- A reward (voucher) of 5000 SR for the first place.
- A reward (voucher) of 4000 SR for the second place.
- A reward (voucher) of 3000 SR for the third place.
Presentation Rewards:
- A reward (voucher) of 5000 SR for the first place.
- A reward (voucher) of 4000 SR for the second place.
- A reward (voucher) of 3000 SR for the third place.
Important Dates:
- The deadline for proposal submissions is Feb 20th, 2020 (This phase has finished).
- The proposal will be judged by a specialized committee (This phase has finished).
- The announcement for accepted proposal will be on March 1st, 2020 (This phase has finished).
- The last day to receive participations is Saturday 03\05\1442 - 16\01\2021, in case your participations has not arrived by that date, it will be considered withdrawn from the competition.
- Results and winners will be announced on Sunday 25\06\1442 - 07\02\2021.
