Accelerated Academic Program for Common First Year Students

The Deanship of Common First Year is pleased to announce the opportunity to enroll  in the accelerated academic program that will enable students to enroll in their respective colleges earlier.

Accelerated Academic program initiative

The objective of the program is to enable university student to accelerate their country journey by completing some of the Common First Year program courses through a rigorous exam by the National Center for Assessment (Qiyas) and Saudi electronic University

Target Audience

Newly outstanding students enrolled at Saudi Electronic University.

Courses involved

• Fundamentals of Mathematics and Computer Essentials (001- -003) to administered in cooperation with (the National Assessment Center).

• Communication skills and Academic skills (001-003) to be administered by Saudi Electronic University.

Conditions

• For the student to be admitted to Saudi Electronic University in the academic year 2022. *

•  The student to have no less than 90% average in high school diploma from within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia or overseas.

• The student to have a weighted average of 90% .

Registration information

If the above conditions are met, the student will be able to register for one or more courses through:

• To attempt Computer Essentials and or Fundamentals of Mathematics register through (Qiyas)  website as explained in the following YouTube video.

• To register for Communication skills and or Academic skills please complete the information contained in the link HERE.

Dates and conditions required to attempt the Exam

• Examinations will be held at Saudi Electronic University at the following branches only Riyadh, Jeddah, and Dammam.

During August 22-24, 2022:

• Registration in the Fundamentals of Mathematics and Computer Essentials (001- -003) course will be in English for all majors except law and electronic media, where registration is required in Arabic.
• Only ONE attempt is available for the accelerated academic program
• Seats are limited, and registration will be on priority.

• Dear student if you fail any difficulty, please contact through the Support System.

Conditions to be successfully enrolled into the accelerated academic program

• Successfully complete all the examinations required or the accelerated academic program.

• The student to successfully complete the external examination required for the English language program as required in the following table:

• Courses that have been passed through academic acceleration are not included in the calculation of the student’s GPA average and are denoted in case of passing with the symbol (NP).

An email will be sent with the result of each course separately according to the table below:
