Accelerated Academic Program for Common First Year Students

Accelerated Academic program initiative

The objective of the program is to enable university student to accelerate their academic journey by completing some of the Common First Year program courses through exams conducted by the Saudi Electronic University.

Target Audience

Newly outstanding students enrolled at Saudi Electronic University.

Courses

Conditions

• Students that has obtained final admission in Saudi Electronic University in the academic year 2023.
• The student to have no less than 95% average in high school diploma from within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia or overseas.
• The student has obtained a weighted average of 85%.
• The student must be register for academic acceleration exams.

Dates and conditions required to attempt the Exam

• Only nominated students will be allowed to take the test, and acceptance text messages will be sent to them.
• Examinations will be held at Saudi Electronic University at the following branches:

Exams date and time

• The exam in the Fundamentals of Mathematics and Computer Essentials (001- -003) courses will be in English language for all majors except law and electronic media, where the exam is required in Arabic language.
• Only ONE attempt is available for the accelerated academic program.
• Seats are limited, and registration will be for priority.

Passing Conditions

• Passing all the examinations required for the accelerated academic program.
• Students must achieve one of the certified English Language Exam for Saudi Electronic University to fulfil the required English course as shown below:

• Courses that have been passed through academic acceleration are not included in the calculation of the student’s GPA and it is symbolized in case of passing by (NP).

Announcement of results

An email will be sent with the result of each course separately one week after the exam.
