The College of Administrative and Financial Sciences, represented by the Department of Business Administration, in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs, is pleased to invite the students to participate in

Innovative Projects Competition (Light of Success)

which aims to encourage creativity and innovation in the field of entrepreneurship.


Competition Objectives:
- Promote a culture of innovation and creativity in entrepreneurship.

- Encourage students to develop practical and viable entrepreneurial projects.

- Prepare future leaders capable of solving contemporary challenges.

- Enhance creative and entrepreneurial thinking among students.


Participation Policies:

- Open to enrolled students of the Saudi Electronic University.

- The project must be original and created by the participant.

- Submissions must include a PowerPoint or PDF presentation explaining:
Project concept and goals, Target audience, Business model, Implementation plan

- A preliminary feasibility study outlining estimated costs and expected returns must be provided.

- Participants may submit existing startup projects or new business ideas that have not yet been implemented.

- All submissions must align with Islamic values.

- Participants must wear formal Saudi attire during presentations.

- The competition team reserves the right to reject any submission that does not meet participation policies or based on their discretion.

Evaluation Criteria:

- Creativity and Innovation – The uniqueness of the idea.

- Feasibility – The project’s ability to be implemented.

- Social and Economic Impact – The project’s effect on society and the market.

- Business Model – The clarity of the feasibility study and business plan.

- Presentation Quality – How well the project is explained and presented.

Prizes

(Non-Monetary Rewards)

- First Place – Up to 2,000 SAR

- Second Place – Up to 1,500 SAR

- Third Place – Up to 1,000 SAR

How to Participate

- Visit the registration link and fill out the participation form.

- Upload the required documents, including: project presentation (PDF or PowerPoint),  preliminary feasibility study, participant’s CV, a short video (maximum 2 minutes) explaining the project idea
