The Saudi Electronic University in Jeddah participated in the #Let’sReviveIt blood donation campaign with Batterjee Medical College in collaboration with King Fahad Armed Forces Hospital. Specialized blood donation trucks were stationed at the college's campus in Obhur Al-Shamalia, aiming to promote a spirit of generosity and social responsibility.
The participation of the Saudi Electronic University was in response to an official invitation from Batterjee Medical College, with the university's Deanship of Student Affairs ensuring the involvement of students in this volunteer initiative. Under the supervision of Ms. Ghdeer Tashkandi and Ms. Wejdan Al-Khathami, transportation was arranged to facilitate the students' attendance and active contribution to this noble cause.
The event witnessed a remarkable turnout from the university's students, who enthusiastically took part in donating blood, recognizing the importance of this noble act in saving lives. This participation reflects the university's commitment to fostering values of cooperation and social solidarity, while also nurturing a humanitarian spirit among its students.
Blood donation is one of the most significant health initiatives that offers great benefits, not only to those in need but also to the donors themselves, through improved circulation and the renewal of blood cells. The organizers of the campaign expressed their appreciation for the attendance and participation of the university’s students, emphasizing the importance of continuing such charitable campaigns in the future to achieve their noble and humanitarian goals.
