As part of Cybersecurity Awareness Month, the Female Campus at the university in Jeddah organized an event aimed at educating students and staff on cybersecurity principles and methods for safeguarding personal information. This event aligns with the university’s ongoing efforts to promote digital awareness and foster a culture of protection against the rising risks in cybersecurity.
The event featured an interactive information booth that covered key concepts in cybersecurity and emphasized its importance in everyday life. It highlighted major cybersecurity threats that students and staff might encounter and offered practical advice and recommendations on enhancing digital security and preventing data breaches, empowering participants to better protect their information in an increasingly digital world.
This event was held under the supervision of Ms. Maha Al-Assiri from the university’s Technical Support Department and Ms. Ghdeer Tashkandi, Head of the Community Service Unit and a member of the Student Activities Unit at the Jeddah branch. It was presented by Khadija Al-Majid, Joud Al-Malki, and Al-Hanouf Al-Yazeedi. These efforts represent the university’s commitment to raising cybersecurity awareness among female students and staff and equipping them with essential tools to navigate the growing cybersecurity challenges.
