As part of the community service and awareness initiatives organized by the Department of Law within the College of Science and Theoretical Studies, students from the Law Department at the Saudi Electronic University’s Jeddah branch held a distinguished awareness activity titled "Contracts Are the Law of the Parties", within the framework of the course "Contract Provisions", under the supervision of Ms. Maram Al-Walidi and with the support of the Academic Affairs Unit.
This initiative comes as part of the university’s ongoing efforts to promote legal awareness and foster a culture of contractual responsibility in the community. The students presented an interactive session that offered a clear and comprehensive explanation of contract principles under Saudi law, discussing key conditions for contract validity, legal effects, and their impact on social and economic relationships. Real-life examples were presented to help bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application.
The activity included an engaging interactive session titled "The Question Wheel", where students from the 75th Secondary School actively participated in simplified legal discussions that piqued their interest and helped reinforce their understanding of basic contract concepts. Informative brochures were also distributed, carefully designed to raise legal awareness among students and teachers, emphasizing their rights and responsibilities when entering into contracts in everyday life. The event concluded with the presentation of certificates of appreciation to the participating students in appreciation of their engagement and contribution to the success of the event.
The activity was met with positive feedback and enthusiasm from attendees, reflecting the value of such initiatives in promoting legal literacy. It also underscored the Saudi Electronic University’s commitment to offering innovative educational activities that enhance students’ legal skills and strengthen their role in community engagement.Top of FormBottom of Form
