Under the gracious patronage of His Highness Prince Saud bin Abdullah bin Jalawi, Governor of Jeddah, the Saudi Electronic University, Jeddah Branch, represented by the Deanship of Student Affairs and the Student Activities Unit, participated in the "Towards a Million Volunteers 3" forum organized by the Jeddah Municipality. This event stands as one of the largest volunteer forums globally, achieving a new world record by being registered in the Guinness World Records, with an attendance of 1,277 participants.
The university's participation reflects its commitment to its societal mission and its support for Saudi Vision 2030, which aims to promote a culture of volunteerism and increase community engagement. The university took part in the accompanying exhibitions of the forum, providing an opportunity to showcase its volunteer efforts, engage with other participating entities, and highlight the vital role of volunteer work in serving the community and fostering sustainable development.
The forum aims to celebrate outstanding volunteer achievements that contribute to strengthening volunteerism as a cornerstone of development, while also offering a platform for interaction and knowledge exchange among volunteering organizations.
