Dean of Computing and Informatics College Participates in the Fifteenth Meeting of the Committee of Deans of Saudi Universities’ Computing and Informatics Colleges

Dr. Ahmad Abdullah Al-Jabr, the acting dean of the Computing and Informatics College at SEU, and Dr. Suha Abdullah Al-Hilali, the Vice-dean of Computing and Informatics College for Female Students Affairs and the Secretary of the committee of deans of computing and informatics colleges at Saudi universities, participated in the fifteenth meeting of the committee of deans of computing and informatics colleges at Saudi universities. The meeting was hosted by the College of Engineering and Computer Sciences at Sattam bin Abdulaziz University.

A number of important topics were discussed during the meeting, and the most prominent topics were hosting the fifth National Conference, which will take place next December, and activating the student exchange between Saudi universities initiative.

In addition, two workshops were held during the meeting about “Mutual Cooperation for Building Future Capabilities” and “A Glimpse at the National Objectives and Artificial Intelligence Data Initiatives.”

A meeting with the representatives of the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology and the Saudi Data & AI Authority was held during the committee meeting to discuss ways of establishing and promoting cooperation to uplift the profession.
