As so, I congratulant King Salman on the occasion of Eid Al Adha and the success of this year's Hajj season, amid precautionary measures that have been implemented to prevent the Coronavirus".

She added "We are returning to start a new academic year today, during which we look forward to keeping up excellency, creativity, and success in order to continue developing all University Presidencies, colleges, deanships, branches, departments and to keep pace with the rapid change in education and elements around."

President of SEU indicated that the University has achieved several milestones in terms of continuing the educational process since the outbreak of the Corona pandemic (Covid-19). This would never happen without the remarkable efforts of all University's Vice Presidents, deans, department heads, and faculty and administrative staff.

She said, "We always strive to make a positive impact as our services are not only for students within the University campus but rather extend to every individual and institution in our beloved country. Hence, we will constantly manage our tasks flexibly, smoothly and positively. And we will respond to external changes and keep pace with the needs of the labor market and requirements of development and community."

Prof. Lailak Alsafadi thanked the staff of the University Presidency for Educational Affairs, the University Presidency for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, and the Deanship of Admission and Student Affairs for the success of the admission process and setting up those who were accepted into academic majors. She also thanked them for their rapid response to the decision of increasing admission by 20% for undergraduate and Master's degrees in the first semester of the academic year 1442 AH. This was issued as a celebration of the recovery of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman. She also expressed her thanks for the Department of Media and Public Relations and the media team for their distinguished media efforts in covering the University's events.

She appreciated His Excellency, the Minister of Education, Dr. Hamad Alsheikh, for his endless support to Saudi Electronic University.

Finally, she thanked Allah, who made it easy for us to return to work. The priority for us in the next period is to keep everyone safe. Therefore, she encouraged staff to return with caution, commit to the precautionary measures, and practice social distancing. She prayed for Allah to bless us, our families and loved ones, granting us a new academic year full of success and achievements, and accepting our deeds.
