SEU Launches a Special Program to Learn the Chinese Language

Saudi Electronic University launched a program to learn the principles of the Chinese Language. The program's duration was six weeks, from Oct 18, 2020, and 48 training hours, at the university's main branch in Riyadh and Dammam, the supervision of certified Chinese trainers.

This program was supervised by the Deanship of the First Common Year and the University's Research and Studies Institute. It grants accredited certificates to help understand the structure of the Chinese Language, read its letters, and pronounce them. Also, to know the meanings of the most important words.

This program's organization comes in response to the recent decision that makes the Chinese Language in the Ministry of Education's curricula and plans. As the Chinese Language is the most widely spoken language globally, about 1.2 billion people speak it worldwide. The program also aims to enable the university students and the target audience to benefit from the Chinese expertise and knowledge in all fields to achieve the future national goals in education in light of Vision 2030.
