The Saudi Electronic University Signs Memorandum of Understanding with Digital Health Center of Excellence in the Ministry of Health during the Global Al Summit
The Saudi Electronic University (SEU) signed a memorandum of understanding with the Digital Health Center of Excellence (DHC) in the Ministry of Health during the Global Al Summit in its second edition. The Summit was organized by the Saudi Data & Al Authority “SDAIA" under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince and Chairman of SDAIA. The Global Al Summit was held at King Abdulaziz International Conference Centre in Riyadh; to outline cooperation initiatives in the scientific, educational, training and technical development fields.
Dr. Mohammed Al-Mehtheef, the Dean of Health Sciences College, represented the University in signing the memorandum, whereas Engineer Mona Al-Subaie, the Executive General Director, represented the Centre.
The memorandum covers cooperation projects and initiatives and employs the capabilities and expertise of both parties in their common interest, including a Blackboard license from the SEU for the Digital Health Center of Excellence to be used in training programs in accordance with rules and regulations. The cooperation also included providing digital learning support to enhance the quality of online health practices in its various fields through development programs presented virtually as part of the educational platform project.
Furthermore, the two parties will cooperate in the field of scientific research and research projects and provide researchers from both parties with available information. The SEU and DHC will work together in organizing conferences, meetings, and workshops that serve both parties, and share experiences and good practices in the field of infrastructure and technical solutions, in addition to providing training programs by the SEU for the DHC employees and Seha Virtual Hospital. The DHC will provide training opportunities for the University graduates to train at Seha Virtual Hospital and the Digital Health Center of Excellence.
