SEU Participates In the Second Conference of Promoting the Role of Saudi Women in Community Development

Vice President of the Saudi Electronic University for Female Student Affairs, Dr. Mai S. Alnabahin, participated in the second edition of the conference (Promoting the Role of Saudi Women in Community Development in Light of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030: Vision and Ambition), under the patronage of Her Highness Princess Madawi Al-Saud. The conference was organized virtually by Al-Jouf University from the 17th to 18th of November, 2020. Several female specialists and interested people from various Saudi universities participated. 

The conference discussed four main themes: Saudi women and community issues, the role of women and the family in society, the role of women in educating and developing families and enhancing their bonding in light of Surah Al-Hujurat, the societal role of women - a Quranic perspective, and the educational empowerment of Saudi women in light of Vision 2030 (a proposed educational vision)

For her part, Dr. May Alnabahin indicated that this participation comes due to the guidance of Her Excellency President of the University, Prof.Lailak A. Al-Safadi, and her eagerness on university staff’s participation in local and international events and to contribute to enhancing the status of Saudi women and developing their capabilities.

She added that Saudi women have made many achievements during the era of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz which contributed to highlighting the bright image of Saudi women, in order to work with other male and female citizens of the Kingdom to advance the country and push its development path forward.
