The Saudi Electronic University (SEU) is honored to receive the 2025 Quality Matters Award: “Making a Difference for Students” – Outstanding Impact by a Non-U.S. Higher Education Organization. SEU is the only international university to earn this distinction in 2025, standing out among numerous leading global institutions competing in this category. This award recognizes SEU’s exceptional commitment to implementing international academic quality standards and enhancing the learning experience of over 30,000 students across its nationwide branches.
The Deanship of Development & Quality, through its Vice Deanship for Institutional Excellence, submitted SEU’s application for this award. The submission highlights the university’s strategic partnership with Quality Matters, established in 2013, and its successful application of QM standards in designing and evaluating academic courses. SEU has also strengthened internal quality assurance systems, including Tawkeed and Blue, which have contributed to sustaining high-quality educational outcomes.
This achievement reflects SEU’s global recognition as a leader in digital and blended learning, and underscores its ongoing efforts to provide students with a transformative, high-quality digital learning experience that prepares them to be competitive professionals on both national and international levels.
The award also aligns with SEU’s 2025 Strategic Plan, which aims to elevate higher education quality by enhancing digital and blended learning practices and implementing integrated quality systems based on the continuous improvement cycle, positioning SEU at the forefront of advanced educational institutions.
