Saudi Electronic University Issues a Number of Precautionary Measures to Prevent Spread of Coronavirus

His Excellency, the Rector of SEU Prof. Ibrahim Almuaiqel, approved a number of precautionary measures to prevent the spread of the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) and preserve the safety of all University employees. These measures are in line with the recommendations of the Permanent Medical Committee at the University.

The precautionary measures include reducing attendance of the administrative staff at the Main headquarters' in Riyadh to 50% while rotating with the remaining 50% teleworking. Employees at all branches telework while branches' supervisors manage the work and submit reports to the Vice-Rector for Branches Affairs. Female employees' attendance in Riyadh is limited to supervisors and managers and those who are required to work while the rest telework in coordination with higher management. Attendance of colleges and supporting deanships' staff is in coordination with the deans where tasks are divided within the staff at the workplace and home.

The University aims through these precautionary measures to contribute to preventing the spread of the novel Coronavirus and protecting the health and safety of the University staff. Therefore, it decided to reduce or cancel attendance provided that the educational and administrative process at the University properly function.
