The University Launches a Number of Chinese Language Courses

The Vice-Rector for Educational Affairs Dr. Thamer bin Omar Al- Hussain said that SEU has launched courses to teach Chinese language in its first phase. He said that these courses are aimed at teaching students in the Riyadh branch in the first place, where it is presented in a blended learning system through a traditional presence at the university and virtual by using e-learning tools. He clarified that the launch of the courses comes in response to the directive issued by His Royal Highness Prince Mohammad bin Salman, Crown Prince and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, to include Chinese language in Saudi schools and universities in order to establish proficient generations in Chinese language so that they can make the most of the Chinese experience and knowledge in all fields in the future, and to contribute in achieving the future national goals in the field of education under the 2030 vision.
