The Deputy Minister of Education for Universities, Research and Innovation visits the Saudi Electronic University

His Excellency Deputy Minister of Education for Universities, Research and Innovation, Dr. Hatem bin Hassan Al Marzouqi, accompanied by the Undersecretary for University Education Dr. Abdul-Rahman Al-Khorayef, visited the electronic headquarters of the Saudi Electronic University in the city of Riyadh, and they were received by the university’s designated director, Dr. Ibrahim bin Abdulaziz Al-Moaqil, the university’s agents, faculties deans, and deans Support.

At the beginning of his visit, His Excellency toured the facilities of the university building, familiar with the classrooms, virtual classrooms, computer labs, studio, digital content development center, and the Apple laboratory.

He also briefed Dr. Marzouki on the quality educational programs offered by the university, in addition to discussing the university's strategic development plan in the coming stage, the Arabic online program, which deals with teaching Arabic to non-native speakers from a distance, and the standard Arabic test program, to measure the language proficiency of students studying In the Arabic program on the Internet.

Dr. Marzouki noted the support and distinction the Saudi Electronic University enjoys from the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Highness the Crown Prince - may God protect them - and His Excellency the Minister of Education Dr. Hamad bin Muhammad Al Sheikh, indicating that the most prominent characteristic The university is maintaining its quality of education and its outputs and aligning it with the job market, in addition to the diversity of educational programs that the university offers in a number of ways.

He added that the student at the electronic university can study more than one program through integrated education.

At the end of his statement, His Excellency praised all the local and international partnerships that the Electronic University has entered into to support the learning process, whereby the student can study at the Electronic University in the main center of the university or one of its branches in the cities of the Kingdom while offering him lectures remotely from an international university.

For his part, the University President, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Moaqil, in his name and on behalf of the university’s employees, expressed his great thanks and gratitude to His Excellency the Minister of Education for his continuous support and interest in education in general and university education in particular and the direct support that the e-university received from His Excellency.

The University President also appreciated the keenness of His Excellency the Deputy Minister of Education for Universities, Research and Innovation and his accompanying delegation to visit the electronic university and meet its employees, indicating that it is a stimulating visit for all towards providing more distinguished work in the service of education in the Kingdom that meets the aspirations of rational leadership.

He pointed out that the university is working continuously to achieve its vision in employing technology in the educational process to be one of the most distinguished and pioneering universities in this field and the advancement of the field of education in the Kingdom, and to provide an innovative educational environment dependent on communication technology and modern technical tools, and qualify its students with the necessary science, knowledge and skills In order to contribute to the production of a distinguished generation that keeps pace with the aspirations of the Saudi labor market, nurtures its needs and meets the requirements of sustainable development and Vision 2030.
