University delegation visits Colorado State University to promote graduate cooperation and partnership

A delegation from the Saudi Electronic University, headed by the University's Undersecretary for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, visited Dr. Mohammed bin AbdulRahman Al-Uweid, Colorado State University in the United States of America (Colorado State University - Global Campus) to promote cooperation and partnership between the two universities in Graduate studies, discussion of the development of a range of graduate programs, and the development of current graduate programs.

The delegation met with The Director of Colorado State University, Dr. Becky Horumi, and the Vice-Chancellor of the University for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research noted during the visit that the Saudi Electronic University always seeks to develop its academic plans and programs to achieve the Vision of the Kingdom 2030 through academic cooperation And the international scientific to convey the distinguished and successful experiences of the people of the country, under the guidance of the government of the custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz and His Highness and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz - May God bless them, stressing that this visit was followed up with direct support from His Excellency  The University's Director-General, A.D. Ibrahim bin Abdulaziz al-Ma'akil.

During the meeting, opportunities for partnership between the two universities in introducing new graduate programs, including the Master of Science and Data Analysis ranked as the best Colorado state wide program for 2018, and the Master of Law program, were discussed in multiple tracks such as international trade law, and law Companies, intellectual property law, as well as the master's program in translation technology, emphasizing the university's keenness to develop the scientific and research skills of its students, through the application of the latest learning methods in the world.

The university delegation included The Dean of Graduate Studies, Dr. Fares bin Mohammed Al-Qarni, The Undersecretary of the Faculty of Computing and Informatics for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research - Head of the Department of Information Technology Dr. Ahmed Bin Abdullah Al-Jabr, Head of The Law Department Dr. Mohammed Bin Abdulrahman Al-Assemi, and Head of the Department of English and Translation Dr. Rasha bint Abdullah al-Shaya, vice chancellor for graduate studies and scientific research, acting director of the Science and Technology Unit, Dr. Marwa bint Mohammed al-Masri.
