Prince Musaid bin Abdulrahman University seeks to develop, maintain, and strengthen its cybersecurity capabilities and protect against internal and external cyber risks to counter threats and reduce cyber risks in accordance with the National Cybersecurity Authority’s controls.
The website relies on security standards that ensure the confidentiality of all information displayed, stored, or exchanged with other entities. Security mechanisms implemented on the portal include:
1- Trusted Digital Certificates: Digital certificates issued by highly trusted entities ensure secure information exchange by encrypting all data sent to and received from the website.
2- Encryption of Stored Information: In addition to encrypting information during transmission and reception, information stored in databases, such as passwords and highly confidential information, is encoded and encrypted.
3- Prince Musaid bin Abdulrahman University enforces a high level of security for all portal equipment and servers in the data center, which is equipped with the latest technological protection measures.
