Medina branch holds a seminar to introduce the nursing profession and emphasize its importance and role in society

The Saudi Electronic University branch in Medina, in cooperation with the Ministry of Health, held a seminar entitled: (Nursing Profession), presented by Dr. Hana Bint Khalid Al-Athaimin, Director of Home Nursing in The Health Care Program in Medina, and targeted university students in various branches, in conjunction with Gulf Nursing Day.

The symposium was known for its concept of nursing, the history of nursing, its beginning in the early Islamic times, what are the most important specialties of nursing, and the need for the nursing profession.

This symposium recognizes and supports nurses and demonstrates their role in caring for human health, without social, cultural, religious or ethnic considerations.

Gulf Nursing Day is one of the approved days celebrated by Saudi Arabia, dedicated to celebrating the nursing profession, strengthening its specialized role, its role in the development of nursing care, and its future vision.
