Registration Started for the Practical Training Course for First Semester of Academic Year 2022/2023
28-07-2022
The College of Computing and Informatics announces the start of registration for the Practical Training Course for next semester.
Starts on Thursday, July 28, 2022. The deadline for receiving applications is August 15, 2022.
Registration Terms:
- The student must have 128 credit hours by the end of the current semester.
- No other course can be registered during first semester, in the case of registration of practical training.
Registration Steps:
- First each student issues a letter addressed to the training organization in which the student will train from the icon in Student Services.
- The student prints the letter directly from Student Services. (You must make sure that the written semester in the letter is “the summer semester” - the letter will be updated starting from the start of registration 28-July-2022)
- Registration forms and the Excel file to be filled out are requested by sending an e-mail to cci.spt@seu.edu.sa
- The student should take the letter and registration form, to the training organization.
- The training organization should fill the form and stamp it.
- The start date of training must be between 28 August 2022.
- The total training hours must be not less than 280 hours.
- The training tasks written in the form must be related to IT and CS domains, and not less than five different tasks.
- Student must ask the training organization for a letter that states the training will be in the organization location and not online. (it must be stated that training will not be online during the training period).
- The student sends a copy of the letter he received from the college, the registration form, the letter for proving that the training is not online and the Excel file after filling out all the data to the email: cci.spt@seu.edu.sa
- The student will be contacted if the data in the form is rejected or needs to be changed.
- The training committee reviews the files, and if acceptance is granted, the student receives an email with the initial approval. If student didn’t receive the initial approval, this means that the approval has not been granted and the student has not been registered for practical training for this semester.
- Approval of the registration is preliminary one, and the final approval is obtained only if the student exceeds 86 credit hours earned by the end of the semester. If students didn’t earn 86 credit hours by the end of this semester, the registration of the training is canceled automatically.
- The final approval will be sent to the student on his email after publishing the first semester results.
- If the student registers for any other course during the first semester, the registration for the training is considered cancelled, and the student is not considered registered for practical training for the first semester 2022-2023
- Any training initiated by the student directly without obtaining a final approval to start training from the Training Committee in the college will not be considered (approval is sent from email: cci.spt@seu.edu.sa)
