Practical Training – First Semester 2026

The College of Computing and Informatics announces the opening of registration for the Practical Training course for the First Semester 2026.

Registration Opens: 30^th July 2026
Registration Deadline: End of day, Wednesday, August 19, 2026
Training Start Date: August 30, 2026

Registration Requirements and Procedures

1. Students must register for the Practical Training course within the registration period announced on the Practical Training page.
2. Students must have completed the minimum required credit hours by the end of Level 6, according to their study plan, to be eligible to register for the Cooperative Training course.
3. Students are allowed to register for up to three academic courses concurrently with the Practical Training course.
4. The training period must be at least 280 training hours, extending over one full academic semester.
5. The training tasks listed in the training form must be directly related to the student's major and must include at least five different technical tasks.
6. The training organization must be officially registered in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (government, semi-government, or licensed private sector).

 

Practical Training Orientation Session

The College is pleased to invite students to an orientation session on the Practical Training course and the registration process.

The session will cover the following topics:

1. Practical Training registration requirements.
2. Training registration procedures and selecting a training organization.
3. Training approval process.
4. Training duration.
5. Training requirements.
