- Introducing the university’s audience, services, plans, programs, activities, achievements, systems, regulations, and goals.
- Establishing and disseminating the concepts and culture of distance e-learning among the target audience (internal and external).
- Creating and promoting a positive mental image of the university.
- Highlighting the scientific, academic and cultural role of the university.
- Strengthening media and communication partnerships with institutions, sectors, and segments of society, and inviting them to participate in promoting the culture of e-learning and distance education.
- Identifying public opinion trends and reactions towards the university's efforts and responsibilities and providing appropriate recommendations to it.
Management tasks
- Welcoming and seeing off visiting professors, external examiners, contractors, and university guests at the airport, and providing them with accommodation and transportation.
- Taking on the duties of welcoming and seating guests attending parties held at the university.
- Preparation and arrangements for receiving visiting delegations to the university.
- Preparing and arranging the internal and external visits of the University President in coordination with His Excellency’s office.
- He takes on the duties of diplomatic and special passports for senior university officials.
- Booking and organizing halls and parties.
- Sending university news to newspapers and media outlets.
- Coordination with media outlets to arrange interviews after coordinating with university officials.
- Responding to what is published in the media after coordinating with the relevant authorities.
- Coordination and preparation for press and television conferences at the university.
- Coordination with university units to publish press releases.
- Preparing draft statements from university officials (the president and vice presidents)
- Publishing and updating university news on its website.
- Coordination with relevant external parties regarding all university media activities.
- Building good and positive relationships with the media to showcase the university’s image and message in a realistic and positive way and to convey its message to the community.
- Undertaking the tasks of subscribing to local and international newspapers in coordination with the university's administrative affairs department.
- Preparing the press kit.
- Take on the task of media documentation.
- Engaging with national media events.
- Publishing and supervising an electronic newspaper for the university.
