Office Overview

The Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs is responsible for the executive management of all the Vice President’s activities, as well as organizing meetings and communications with internal and external university units. The office focuses on providing advanced logistical and administrative support, and ensuring effective communication channels with university staff, students, and external stakeholders. This contributes to enhancing administrative efficiency and ensuring a prompt response to the requirements of the academic system.

Office Responsibilities

Supervising the reception of visitors and clients to the Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs, scheduling their appointments, receiving incoming calls, and handling outgoing communications, as well as recording and properly archiving necessary documents.

Presenting daily transactions to the Vice President for Academic Affairs, receiving instructions regarding responses, following up on assigned matters with internal and external entities, and submitting required reports.

Preparing for meetings of the Vice President for Academic Affairs, recording issued recommendations, and circulating them as required in accordance with approved procedures.

Preparing and drafting letters, decisions, and circulars, and following up on the office’s electronic systems while carrying out tasks according to approved directives.

Supervising proper file archiving procedures and ensuring the availability of all necessary office equipment for the Vice President for Academic Affairs.

Preparing periodic and annual reports on the office’s activities and achievements, proposing development improvements, supervising staff performance, and suggesting work plans to ensure smooth operations, and submitting them to the Vice President for Academic Affairs.
