Overview of the International Students Unit
International Students Unit Responsibilities
- Supporting the admission and recruitment of international students by promoting the university and its academic programs on international platforms and attracting high-achieving applicants in coordination with relevant internal and external entities—particularly the (Study in Saudi Arabia platform) provided by the Ministry of Education.
- Coordinating with relevant authorities to facilitate visa issuance, residency renewals, and travel arrangements for eligible students.
- Organizing airport reception for new students, assisting them in securing suitable university housing, and introducing them to the applicable regulations within the Kingdom and the university, as well as available security and healthcare services.
- Delivering orientation sessions on Saudi culture, the academic system, and students’ rights and responsibilities, in addition to organizing visits to historical landmarks and national events.
- Providing academic support to help students overcome academic challenges and offering pathways to ensure Arabic language proficiency prior to commencing their studies.
- Maintaining a database of international graduates to support ongoing engagement and strengthen their connection with the university.
