The immediate supervisor must be informed immediately, after which an official report will be prepared and submitted to the relevant authority to take the necessary actions in accordance with the applicable system and regulations.
If negligence or failure to exercise due care is proven, the responsible person shall bear the cost of the lost or damaged items in accordance with the applicable systems and instructions.
They aim to protect public funds and ensure the optimal use of assets.
1- Tangible (Permanent) Assets:
These are physical assets assigned to an employee for use in performing their duties. They must be returned after the purpose of use has ended or when the employee leaves the organization, such as laptops, furniture, vehicles, mobile phones, and others.
2- Consumable Assets:
These are items issued to employees that lose their value once used and do not require return. However, their consumption rate is monitored, such as stationery (pens, papers, etc.), small spare parts, ink cartridges, and others.
3- Cash Assets:
These are financial amounts provided to an employee or department to cover urgent and unexpected expenses during the fiscal year. They are replenished (reimbursed) according to the amount spent, based on supporting invoices, before the end of the fiscal year.
4- Site Assets (or Technical Assets):
These are commonly used in contracting companies and factories, where an entire site or production line is assigned to a specific person who becomes responsible for all its contents, including machinery and raw materials, until the completion of the project.
