About

The University vice for Educational Affairs was established pursuant to Telegraphic Directive No. 26345 dated 06/15/1436 AH to undertake the realization of the University's mission and vision in the field of educational affairs. The vice previously operated in its field of specialization, "Educational Affairs," under the name of the University Agency, which was previously established pursuant to Higher Education Council Resolution No. 10/71/1433, approved by the Supreme Authority through Telegraphic Directive No. 7385 dated 1434 AH. It was entrusted with the university's educational affairs, and everything related to the university's electronic infrastructure, information technology, and educational technologies.

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to Him through whose
blessings good deeds are completed, and peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad,
his family, and companions.
It is my pleasure to welcome you to the website of the Vice Presidency for Academic Affairs at the
Saudi Electronic University. Our role is fundamentally centered on the rigorous oversight of all
academic matters related to diploma and bachelor’s students, developing academic programs and
curricula, and ensuring they align with labor market needs and support the objectives of Saudi
Vision 2030.
We are committed to continuously enhancing the quality of our educational outcomes by
encouraging pedagogical and academic innovation in teaching methods, adopting leading local
and international academic practices, and providing an inspiring learning environment that
prepares distinguished graduates who possess the requisite competencies to make significant
national contributions and to achieve global competitiveness.
Furthermore, We place substantial value on the constructive input and feedback of our
students, faculty members and stakeholders, as they play an important role in improving the
educational experience. The Vice Presidency works closely with colleges and supporting deanships
to facilitate services provided to our students.
In conclusion, we ask God to protect our esteemed leadership, the Custodian of the Two Holy
Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and
Prime Minister, Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, and to bless our nation with
continued security and prosperity.

Functions of the Vice Presidency

  1. Assisting the University President in managing the entities affiliated with him organizationally.
  2. Managing the educational process at the university and working to provide its requirements.
  3. Developing university study plans and programmes in line with national development requirements and labour market requirements.
  4. Implementing the university’s admission and registration policies and following up on the application of approved standards.
  5. Monitoring the university's program capacity.
  6. Follow up on the implementation of the educational process at the university’s main headquarters and its various branches.
  7. Follow up on the implementation of educational strategies that are consistent with the university’s educational model.
  8. Directing colleges and academic departments to advance the educational process and assisting them in overcoming any obstacles they may encounter.
  9. Participate in providing competent academic staff to implement the university’s programs.
  10. Monitoring the use of educational technologies in the educational process and utilizing all educational tools provided by the university’s educational platform (Blackboard).
  11. Supervising the use and development of educational applications and technologies at the university.
  12. Monitor and encourage student activities to enhance the spirit of initiative and responsibility among university students.
  13. Preparing guides and publications introducing the university’s programs and student activities.
  14. Preparing and training faculty members and students to master the use of educational technologies.
  15. Implementing academic partnerships at the university, both local and international.
  16. Supervising the preparation of plans to develop educational technology services provided to the university and others, and following up on their implementation.
