Sustainable development

The Saudi Electronic University realizes the importance of the role of universities in achieving sustainable development and that maximizing their impact in their three functions (education, scientific research, and community services) will only be achieved through strategic plans and policies that are consistent with the goals of sustainable development. Therefore, sustainability has been taken as an approach, road map, and ambitious agenda to achieve its role, through interest in finding practical digital solutions and innovative technologies for emerging challenges facing humans and the surrounding environment, and implemented environmentally friendly growth plans that support quality of life, with a focus on partnerships with the government sector, the private and non-profit sectors to support the achievement of common goals. The university, represented by colleges, branches and other internal sectors, implemented a number of projects and sustainable community leadership programs, which will be mentioned by reviewing goals for sustainable development.
