The Deanship of Development and Quality at the Saudi Electronic University is dedicated to promoting a culture of quality and continuous improvement. It oversees the establishment of a comprehensive internal system for ongoing self-evaluation and formulates general strategies for implementing the quality assurance system, adopting global and regional best practices in institutional excellence.
The Deanship also supervises the updating of the university's organizational structure, procedures, and policies in line with changes and strategic direction. Additionally, it aims to enhance the university's ranking in international indicators and participate in institutional excellence awards, contributing to the achievement of Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 in the fields of higher education, knowledge investment, and human resource development.
Deanship Responsibilities
Establishing general strategies for implementing the quality assurance system and adopting global and regional best practices in institutional excellence.
Building a comprehensive internal system for ongoing self-evaluation.
Promoting a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the university.
Enhancing the culture of institutional excellence by coordinating with relevant university entities.
Increasing awareness of the importance of the university's participation in awards and ranking indicators.
Coordinating with the National Center for Academic Accreditation and Evaluation and working in accordance with its systems and regulations.
Sharing experiences with similar centers and units at other Saudi universities to achieve desired development for the university.
Approving new and constructive ideas and proposals submitted by the units under the Deanship.
Monitoring the performance of the Deanship's agencies according to the established programs and action plans in the approved Deanship plans.
Supervising the preparation of data, information, statistics, and annual reports on the achievements of each unit within the Deanship.
