The department seeks to localize English language education and reach the widest possible segment of the nation’s citizens, regardless of their geographical location, This contributes to enhancing their language proficiency and increasing their competitiveness in securing distinguished employment opportunities, developing their skills, or preparing them for admission to local and international universities, To achieve these objectives, the department offers a range of high-quality programs, most notably the Bachelor’s Degree in English Language and Translation, which has been offered entirely through distance learning since the academic year 1447 AH. The department also offers a Master’s Degree in Translation Technologies.
