A lecture Entitled: A Comparison of textual, Pragmatic, and rhetorical functions of Discourse makers and their impact on translation.

The College of Science and Theoretical Studies, in cooperation with the Training Department at the university, held a lecture under the title: A Comparison of textual, pragmatic, and rhetorical functions of Discourse makers and their impact on translation, which was attended by many faculty members (Department of English and Translation) via visual communication technology on Monday 11/16/1444 AH

 Where the lecture was presented by Dr. Ibrahim Mohammed Al-Aswad, through which he explained discourse functions, in addition to the different types and functions of discourse markers and the impact of discourse functions on translation.

It is worth noting that the university is working through the initiatives that are being implemented in its various faculties and deanships to raise awareness, in addition to its relentless pursuit to raise the level of knowledge and expertise of its employees in the academic and administrative staff and to optimally employ them in the professional and personal path.
