Introduction
The Deanship of Admissions and Registration is responsible for implementing admission systems, registering students, and monitoring their academic affairs from admission until graduation. Its responsibilities extend to providing students with comprehensive information about the university, its colleges, and academic programs; announcing university admission requirements and academic regulations; and providing clear answers to all related inquiries. The Deanship also prepares statistics requested by various entities both within and outside the university, which contribute to highlighting the university's important role in the national development process. In addition to its administrative and technical duties within the university, the Deanship's responsibilities extend beyond the university, given the importance of ongoing and constructive coordination and cooperation between the various units within the university and other external entities.
Tasks
- Acceptance of male and female students applying to the university in scientific departments is subject to specific regulations.
- Developing admission and registration mechanisms, documents, and academic procedures in accordance with what technology produces for that purpose.
- Academic advising for students through the issuance of informational brochures about the university’s systems and regulations, and answering inquiries from students and applicants to the university.
- Preparing statistics related to student admissions, their numbers and distribution across different stages of the university.
- Translation of student academic documents and records into English.
- Preparing the university's academic calendar.
- Preparing and delivering graduation documents to graduates in both paper and electronic formats.
- Following up on the work of the permanent and internal committees of the Deanship.
