Practical Training – Summer Semester 2025-2026

The College of Computing and Informatics announces the opening of applications for the Practical Training course for the summer semester of 2025-2026

  • Registration opens: April 14, 2026
  • Registration closes: May 14, 2026

 

Registration Requirements and Steps:

  1. Students must register for the Practical Training course within the announced dates on the Practical Training webpage.
  2. The student must have completed the minimum required credit hours by the end of Level 6 to register for the Practical Training course according to their study plan.
  3. A student is allowed to register for courses along with practical training, with a maximum of 3 courses (including the training) for non-graduates, and 4 courses (including the training) for graduate
  4. The training duration must not be less than 280 training hours and must span the full summer semester.
  5. The training tasks listed in the training form must be related to the student’s major and include at least five different tasks.
  6. The training organization must be formally recognized and registered in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (government sector, semi-government sector, or licensed private sector).

 

Awareness Session on the Practical Training Course

The college is pleased to hold an Orientation session about the Practical Training course and the registration steps.

The session will cover the following topics:

  1. Requirements for registering in Practical Training
  2. Steps for registering and selecting training organizations
  3. Steps for training approval
  4. Training duration
  5. Training requirements
  6. Required evaluations and reports
