Affirming its commitment to its students, and believing in the importance of a conducive environment characterized by transparency, fairness, equity, and equality among its members to enhance the quality of university education and promote the values of educational practice, and given that the student is the central focus of the educational system, the Saudi Electronic University guarantees students' rights and strives to raise their awareness of their rights and responsibilities towards others, in order to cultivate a sense of student belonging to the university. To achieve this, the Saudi Electronic University hopes that all its faculty and staff will fulfill their duties and obligations. Therefore, the university has established student rights protection committees at two levels:
- Main Committee for the Protection of Students' Rights (at the university level)
It considers complaints against the university's administrative units, as well as student objections against previous rulings of the subcommittee, in addition to complaints not decided by the subcommittee.
- Subcommittees for the Protection of Students' Rights (at the college level)
It is the student's first point of contact, and it is the entity that considers all student complaints related to educational and administrative matters, with the exception of complaints related to university administrative units outside the college.
The importance of these committees lies in the fact that they are an independent body that monitors students’ rights, considers their administrative and academic observations and complaints impartially, and decides on them in a professional, regulated manner and within a specific timeframe, which reflects positively on the university and its educational environment.
