The Research and Studies Institute at the Saudi Electronic University was established with the aim of keeping apace with the development and transformation that our beloved country is undergoing, led by the auspices of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammad bin Salman, Crown Prince. By activating the vital role of universities in development, the advancement of nations is made possible and is sustained, strengthening collaboration among various interdependent sectors.  

Looking ahead, institutes seek to meet the local market demand for research and studies. Through the participation of distinguished faculty members as well as various relevant sectors, the best and most high-quality innovative solutions are offered in the fields of services and research; contributions which the Institute depends greatly on.

The Institute received tremendous support from the University’s leadership, represented in the direct and continuous supervision of both Her Excellency the President and Vice-Deans. Such support has been instrumental in overcoming many obstacles, allowing the Institute to realize its mission according to a clear approach. Expeditiously, the Institute began implementing its strategic plan, while insuring to meet the aspirations of its employees and partners, as well as achieving important accomplishments, leading to an efficient transformation of knowledge. Thus, by following best practices that combine originality and efficiency, the Institute became a model of excellence.

As we are part of the development process aimed at by all institutions, we established connections with all stakeholders to discuss and support development issues, thereby fully contributing to the Kingdom’s 2030 Vision. The Institute launched its official website to underscore the vitality of communication channels. We also recognize that partnership with other sectors enables us to develop our strategy, which is collectively driven and based on the “Win-Win” principle.

Finally, the Institute ensures the provision of a high-quality and safe environment, in order to achieve distinction in providing services with scientific efficiency, while maintaining integrity and professionalism in carrying out the projects entrusted to the Institute.
