Jazan Branch holds the World Day to Combat Obesity
The female section of the Jazan branch organized a comprehensive awareness program on obesity, its dangers and methods of treatment and prevention, which coincided with the International Day for Combating Obesity 14/2 / 1437H, corresponding to 26/11/2015, and came in conjunction with the competition "You are the winner ... You are the loser .." Organized by the Deanship of Student Affairs at the Saudi Electronic University The branch was hosted by distinguished female physicians from Jazan University, Dr. Maryam Attaf, and d. Ibtihal Al-Talhi, to present and activate the program and the accompanying activity, as the program represented in taking the medical team of students ’weights and measurements, determining the level of risk for each student, guiding them to proper feeding methods, and how to measure the ideal weight. At the end of the program, the administrative team distributed awareness brochures and leaflets on obesity. The program also included a buffet containing samples of healthy food.
