Lecture: Awareness of the Dangers of Drugs

In partnership with the Deanship of Admission and Student Affairs, a branch of the Saudi Electronic University has held an awareness lecture titled: 'Awareness of the risks of drugs and how to prevent them ' in Jazan, Wednesday, 12 Rabi' al-Thani 1443 AH, which corresponds to November 17, 2021 AD.
The lecture targeted all university students in various branches. It was part of the events of the drug awareness campaign (My country needs me).
Dr. Abdul Majeed Muhammad Jali, a faculty member at Jazan University's College of Pharmacy and a member in the Center for Poisons and Psychotropic Substances, introduced the concept of drugs, their dangers and psychological, social, and economic harm to individuals and society. He also presented the types of drugs, how to avoid falling into addiction, and concluded the lecture by educating students on ways to overcome addiction.
This lecture was organized on Blackboard by the Student Activities Unit in the Jazan branch, with 64 students in attendance.
