The Jeddah branch commemorates the "International Day of Disability"

The Student Activities Unit at the Jeddah Branch, in collaboration with the Persons and People with Disabilities Unit, actively observed International Disability Day with the theme "Our strength is in our will." A pivotal component of this commemoration was a convened meeting involving individuals with disabilities and representatives from the Department of Communication and Public Relations at the Ministry of Health, particularly the Eye Hospital.

The gathering, attended by several branch employees, served the dual purpose of shedding light on the university's integral role in community service and emphasizing its commitment to providing higher education opportunities for individuals with disabilities. Furthermore, the university demonstrated its dedication to extending care, rehabilitation services, academic integration, and psychological support to this segment of the population.

During the session, participants were apprised of the healthcare rights extended by the Ministry of Health to individuals with disabilities. The information shared aimed at fostering an environment of support, facilitation, and service provision to enhance the well-being and inclusivity of people with disabilities within the university community.
