The SEU -Jeddah Branch has participated in the activation of the National Day of Alzheimer Disease

The SEU–Jeddah branch has participated with the Ministry of Health and the Saudi Alzheimer’s Disease Association on the World Alzheimer’s Day with the theme (#_I_Need_You). The event took place at the Tahlia Center and aimed to raise awareness about Alzheimer's disease, a condition affecting over one million people worldwide. Its prevalence doubles every five years after age 65.

Alzheimer's gradually erodes memory and thinking skills, but education and awareness can lower the risk. The event featured informative sessions and activities to educate the community about Alzheimer's and its prevention.

The event highlighted how crucial it is to detect and intervene early. Therefore, the SEU-Jeddah branch, the Ministry of Health, and the Saudi Alzheimer's Association remain dedicated to increasing awareness and supporting affected individuals.
