As part of the Nabih and Weqaya initiatives, the Qassim branch organizes an awareness corner
As part of the “Nabih” and “Weqaya” initiatives, the branch of the Saudi Electronic University in Qassim organized an awareness corner on the harms of smoking, in cooperation with the Aman Association in Unayzah Governorate.
The corner aims to introduce university employees, including students, faculty and employees, to the harms of smoking and its derivatives (electronic cigarettes - shisha), the diseases they cause, passive smoking, methods to help quit smoking, and how to protect the family from its danger.
The awareness section showed a group of pictures showing the harms of smoking and the materials used in making cigarettes, such as tar and the like, and distributed some introductory booklets about the state’s efforts to combat smoking, and what it offers free and confidentially to those wishing to quit.
