Saudi Arabia’s 90th National Day Competition

Saudi Electronic University announces the 90th National Day Competition  for University students to express their feelings towards their homeland, in different categories: (video - design - drawing - tweeting).

Participation Conditions:
1- The participant must be a student at SEU.
2- The participation must be created by the student.
3- That the participation aims to highlight the celebration of the National Day, and the national sense must be the spirit of the creative work, and the appreciation of development projects, achievements and initiatives, through the vision of the participant.
4- Embodying feelings of love and loyalty to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His crown prince, as well as highlighting the role of the founder, King Abdulaziz and his sons in unifying the homeland.
5- The participation should not contain something against the Islamic rules.
6- Highlighting the role of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in general and the Ministry of Education in particular, in light of facing the Corona pandemic.
7 – Participants are eligible to participate in more than one category, but they should not exceed one work in each category.
8- Participants are subject to arbitration by the Deanship in all of the categories, according to precise standards determined by the Deanship in coordination with relevant authorities.
9- The Deanship has the right to benefit from and publish all posts.

Video Category:
Participation idea:
Producing a video clip about the National Day, viewing an aspect of celebrating this glorious history of the Kingdom in a creative form, through the participant's own vision.

Conditions:
1- The work must be directed by the participant him/herself.
2- The video should be 2-3 minutes long.
3- To contain the participant’s own fingerprint, and to highlight the celebration of the National Day.
4- The elements of the video must be derived from the Saudi identity, whether the text or any of the components of the work.
5- The images and audio in the film should not contain elements against the Islamic regulations and the law.
Evaluation Criteria:
1- Image quality and montage.
2- Voice clarity.
3- The idea of ​​the video and its message.
4- The video duration.
5- Novelty and creativity.

2- Graphic design Category:
Participation idea:
Designing a creative design about the celebration of the National Day through the participant’s own vision, using Photoshop.
Conditions:
1- The design idea should be created by the participant.
2- The participant should be using Photoshop.
3- The design should be 500 widths and 350 lengths.
4- The design should contain a national element by investing in components of the Saudi identity: (the image of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, the image of the flag, the map of the Kingdom, any of its landmarks).
Evaluation Criteria:
1- Novelty and creativity.
2- Image resolution and merging.
3- The consistency of colors and lines.
4- Fit and harmonize the design components.

3- Drawing Category:
Participation idea:
Drawing a picture on the National Day, bearing the vision of the participant.

Conditions:
1- That the work should be presented on paper using pencils, charcoal, Chinese ink, or with all of these materials.
2- The work size should not exceed 100 cm x 70 cm, and not less than 30 cm x 40 cm (before framing).
3- The works are directed (framed).

4- Best Tweet Category

Participation idea:

The category of the best tweet on the 90th National Day of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through the following hashtag #الجامعة_السعودية_الإلكترونية.

Conditions:
1- The tweet should be written by the student and not taken from other websites.

How to Participate :
- The participations should be posted on Twitter mentioning the main university account and referring to the hashtag #همة_حتى_القمة  and the hashtag
#الجامعة_السعودية_الإلكترونية .
- Student's full name and the academic number should be added to the posted tweet.

- The student's Twitter account should not be private to ensure that the participation is received.

- participations that not adhere to these rules will be excluded.
