Vice Presidency History
The establishment of the Vice Presidency was officially approved on 26/2/1434 AH upon the approval of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Prime Minister and Chairman of the Council of Higher Education on the minutes of the Council of Higher Education at its (seventy-first) session held on 14/11/1433 AH, which took the decision No 10/71/1433 to approve the establishment of the university Vice Presidency, along with a number of vice presidencies and other allocations. To start a new process of work, development, and follow-up on all aspects of administrative, technical, and development aspects at the university, the Vice Presidency includes a number of supporting deanships and effective departments. It is considered a prominent division of the University's organizational structure. Therefore, to achieve the university’s mission towards the country and community, the university's Vice Presidency provides its best to apply the best technical and administrative services which contribute to fulfilling the university's goals and keeping up with breakthroughs. This ensures high-quality outputs that meet the ambitions as well as the needs of the labor market.
Vice Presidency Tasks
Assist the University's President at managing all related departments.
Supervise the Deanship of Faculty Members and Employees Affairs, the Deanship of Information and Education Technology, the female section, as well as administrative and financial affairs, and grant them authority according to the university regulations, to create a proper environment that produces high quality learning outcomes.
Supervise, monitor all matters related to Financial Department, and Contracts and Purchases Department including tenders, etc. and audit their work.
Supervise the university financial planning, follow up on the budget items, and discuss it with the Ministry of Finance.
Supervise the university's facilities and premises, monitor its maintenance, as well as supervising construction projects and monitoring it.
Supervise all matters related to technical affairs at the university.
Develop and supervise the administrative work actions and improve procedures of work techniques constantly, to ensure the completion of administrative and financial transactions on time and in high efficiency.
