Vice Rectorate Establishment
The establishment of the vice rectorate was officially approved on 26/2/1434 AH after the approval of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Prime Minister and Chairman of the Council of Higher Education on the minutes of the Council of Higher Education at its (seventy-first) session held on 14/11/1433 AH, which took the decision No 10/71/1433 to approve the establishment of the university vice rectorate in addition to a number of vice rectorates and other allocations. To start a new process of work, development, and follow-up on all aspects of administrative, technical, and development aspects at the university, where the vice rectorate includes a number of supporting deanships and effective departments. The vice rectorate is a prominent division of the University's organizational chart within the University's vice rectorates. Therefore, to achieve the mission of the university towards the country and society, the university's vice rectorate is doing its best to apply the best technical and administrative services which contribute in reaching the university's goals and keep up with the latest developments. This ensures high-quality outputs that achieve the ambitions and the needs of the labor market.
Vice Rectorate's Tasks
Help the University's rector at managing all related departments.
Supervision of (deanship of Academic staff and employee's affairs, the information and learning technology, female branch and administrative and financial affairs) and grant them authority according to the university systems to create a suitable environment, to produce high quality learning outcomes.
Supervising and monitoring all matters related to financial management, and the administrative of contracts and purchases such as tenders.
Supervision of financial planning of the university and following up on the budget items, and discuss them with the Ministry of Finance as well.
Supervision and maintenance of the university's facilities and buildings, as well as, supervising projects construction and monitoring them.
Supervision of all matters related to technical affairs at the university.
Supervising and working on updating the administrative work methods and its ongoing improvement to implement all work procedures electronically, to ensure the completion of administrative and financial transactions at a specific time and in high efficiency.
