Domestic violence: an attempt to understand and to counter

The Permanent Committee for the Promotion of Mental Health announces the holding of a lecture entitled

(Domestic violence: an attempt to understand; And to counter)

presented by Specialist Nouf Ghazi Arfasha, Researcher in counseling psychology at Imam Saud bin Muhammad Islamic University, and a psychologist at Famcare platform to provide psychological and family counseling.

The lecture will be held on Wednesday 3 Feb 2020,

• Why, specifically, domestic violence? (The reason for choosing the topic, its importance and statistics about it) 
• What do we mean by domestic violence? What are its forms? 
• What are the causes? 
• What are its effects? 
• His victims during the time of the Corona virus.
• Why do victims of violence remain silent about what they encounter? 
• What are the ways to prevent it?
• How can a victim respond to it?
