Competition: "Be Aware!”

The Deanship of Admission and Student Affairs on behalf of Student Care Center and Social Counseling Unit announces a cultural, artistic, and awareness competition directed to university students and aiming at raising awareness about the drugs’ dangers with distinguished participations and distribution of monetary prizes to winners in each track.
Competition Tracks:
- Fine and Digital Art of all types (using drawing tools or digital pens and cartoon drawing boards, in addition to various digital programs).
- Caricature (i.e. satirical drawings that exaggerate a character or a specific event for the purpose of illustrating a social phenomenon).
- Photography (showcasing the student's artistic talent and creativity through capturing images of places, people, or landscapes with the addition of some technical skills).
- Digital Design (motion graphics - infographics) (digital formats aimed at presenting information or products to attract attention and interact with others).
- Short Film (not exceeding 60 seconds) (a type of cinematic film with a duration ranging from a few seconds to a minute).
Competition Objectives:
- Contributing to achieving the goals of drug danger awareness.
- Clarifying the awareness message.
- Stimulating and enhancing talents and creativity in the field of awareness in the area of interest.
- Promoting social bond and social responsibility.
Participation Guidelines:
- Participants must be university students.
- Participations must meet the objectives of the competition.
- Participations must be original (prepared and executed by the student and not previously submitted to other competitions).
- Participations must convey a clear and purposeful awareness message.
- The sources of information used by the student (books, references, scientific papers, documentaries, specialized sources) must be acknowledged.
Winning Qualification Criteria:
- Participations must comply with the participation guidelines.
- Participations should win the highest percentage of votes from students and the competition committee.
*Note: The committee reserves the right to disqualify any participant who does not adhere to ethical behavior and the participation guidelines.
Prizes:
A prize of 1000 Saudi Riyals for each track.
