Overview of Student Activities
Student activities are a fundamental pillar in shaping university students’ personalities, developing their leadership and professional skills, and fostering a spirit of belonging, initiative, and creativity. Through its student activities system, the College seeks to provide a stimulating university environment that enables students to actively participate in scientific, technical, cultural, volunteer, sports, and innovation-based programs.
Student activities aim to support students’ talents, refine their skills, and connect their academic experiences with labor market needs, in alignment with the University’s directions and the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.

To be a stimulating College environment for student creativity and innovation in the fields of computing and informatics.
To empower students to develop their leadership and professional skills through integrated scientific, technical, volunteer, cultural, and sports activities that contribute to preparing a generation capable of competition, innovation, and community service.
Student activities in the College aim to:
- Enhance students’ leadership and teamwork skills.
- Support technical and creative activities in the fields of Artificial Intelligence, Programming, and Cybersecurity.
- Align student activities with labor market requirements and future skills.
- Encourage students to participate in local and international competitions, hackathons, and conferences.
- Strengthen national identity, Islamic values, and institutional belonging.
- Develop a spirit of initiative, innovation, and entrepreneurship among students.

The College offers a variety of student activities designed to meet students’ interests and support their academic and professional pathways, including:
Scientific and Technical Activities
Workshops, hackathons, programming competitions, specialized lectures, and technical challenges in the fields of computing and informatics.
Cultural and Social Activities
Seminars, discussion forums, cultural evenings, and field visits that enhance communication, knowledge, and belonging.
Volunteer and Community Activities
Awareness campaigns and digital and community initiatives that contribute to community service and promote social responsibility.
Sports and Health Activities
Internal tournaments, sports days, and health awareness campaigns that promote a healthy lifestyle.
Entrepreneurship and Innovation Activities
Project exhibitions, innovation competitions, and programs that support entrepreneurial ideas and technology-based projects.
Activity Implementation Process
Student activities go through several organizational stages to ensure quality implementation and achieve the desired impact:
- Activity Proposal Submission
The activity idea is submitted by completing an activity request form that includes the objective, target audience, time, location, estimated cost, and expected outcomes.
- Review and Approval
The request is reviewed by the Activities Committee and activity coordinators, followed by the completion of the required approval procedures.
- Announcement and Implementation
The activity is announced through official channels, with students involved in organization, implementation, and evaluation.
- Documentation
A report is prepared for the activity, supported by photos and outputs, in preparation for approval and publication.
- Evaluation and Impact Assessment
The impact of the activity is measured through surveys or qualitative reports, contributing to the development of future programs.
Student Clubs
The College includes a number of specialized student clubs that provide students with opportunities for learning, practice, competition, and innovation within a motivating and supportive environment.
Cybersecurity Club
Aims to promote cybersecurity awareness and build a knowledgeable generation capable of protecting information and digital systems through lectures, workshops, competitions, and applied projects.
Artificial Intelligence Club
Promotes the culture of Artificial Intelligence, enhances research and innovation in intelligent technologies, and enables students to acquire practical skills that support digital transformation.
Gaming and Esports Club
A student platform that combines entertainment, learning, and technical creativity, aiming to develop students’ skills in competitive gaming and digital game development.
Robotics Club
Seeks to develop students’ skills in designing and programming robots, enhance critical and creative thinking, and encourage participation in technical challenges and competitions.
Drones Club
Provides an applied environment for students interested in unmanned aerial vehicles, enabling them to acquire skills in design, operation, and the development of applied projects in this field.

Students can participate in student activities through:
- Joining one of the student clubs at the beginning of the academic year through the Unified Registration Form for Student Clubs at the College of Computing and Informatics:
