Jeddah branch participated in the World Sight Day event

The Communication and Media Unit of the Saudi Electronic University Branch in Jeddah, with the Eye Hospital in Jeddah and the Ebsar Foundation for the Blind, participated in the World Sight Day event under the slogan (Love Your Eyes) at the Eye Hospital headquarter in Jeddah.

Some of the university’s employees, including blind students, attended, where the student, Arwa Asiri, stated in her speech that she had a visual disability nearly four years ago, and she is now a student at the Saudi Electronic University majoring in law. Arwa thanked the university for its efforts to provide a suitable environment for disabled people.

 Student, Muhammad Al-Bahouth, stated that he was suffering from poor eyesight, after which he underwent surgery and it was successful. He said that the university pays great attention to this dear group and thanked the President of the Saudi Electronic University, Dr. Lilac Ahmed Al-Safadi and all those in charge of the university branch in Jeddah.

At the end of the event, the University’s branch in Jeddah was honored with a certificate of appreciation for the participation and success of this event by the Director of the Eye Hospital, Dr. Bandar Al-Qahtani.
