Practical training on creating cooking projects

The Student Activities Unit of the Female Students Section in Jeddah held an event entitled: (The Tender Plate) for the branch students, led by Professor Sarah Al-Qathami and supervising the assistant supervisor of the branch, Dr. Maysoon Bint Muhammad Saeed Khojah, in implementation of the university’s message and activating its role in community service. The event aims to support and encourage students interested in cooking and introduce them to how emerging cooking projects work, and train them to manage them in practical application, where students participated in preparing a number of different dishes and offered them for sale, as a field experience that helps them gain experience in addition to the revenues that accrue to them from selling their dishes. It also aims to develop a spirit of cooperation, teamwork, and effective participation between female students and instill an entrepreneurial spirit with them, while encouraging female students to establish their small facilities.
