SEU employees in Madinah Brach join (Life First Aid Ambassador) Program
On Monday, January 23, 1443 AH, a number of the administrative staff of Madinah branch of the Saudi Electronic University joined (Ambassador of Life for First Aid) program, which was organized at the initiative of His Excellency the General Supervisor of the university branch, Dr. Muhammad bin Muhammad Al-Suraihi, in cooperation with the Red Crescent Authority, which aims to raise awareness and provide the correct methods for first medical aid for some accidents that students may encounter on or of campus.
During which some accidents were mentioned, such as fainting, in cases of low blood sugar, hypotension, heart failure, fracture, bleeding, swallowing the tongue, suffocation, and the correct methods of pulmonary resuscitation in Cardiac arrest or airway obstruction. Also, some methods that relieve pain, such as compresses, dealing with minor injuries and superficial burns, and preventing wound contamination, were presented.
At the end of the course, the trainees received a license (first aider) approved by the Saudi Red Crescent Authority.
