To begin with, it is to my pleasure to welcome you, noble brothers and sisters, at the Branch Portal of SEU in Al-Madinah Al-Munawara through the Internet. Before reviewing the contents and services of this Website, I would like to share with you a brief piece of information about the establishment of SEU and what distinguishes it from the rest of Universities in the Kingdom, as well as about the establishment of its Branch at Al-Madinah Al-Munawara. The University establishment was, by the aid of Allah, concluded by the Royal Order of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdul-Aziz )May God rest him in peace(, No. 37409/b, on 10th Holy Ramadan 1432 H. , to become a member of the group of State Universities in the Kingdom, and to contribute towards building the community of knowledge in an innovated method for providing Academic Teaching and Learning Programs throughout life, based on the principle of harmonizing between Traditional Teaching and Blended E-teaching; as well as making the best use of facilities and services provided by IT and communications. This Branch was the first among others that were opened, since it was established in 1433/1434 H. At present, more than one thousand Male and Female Students attend the Preparatory Year, as well as the Colleges of Accounting, Informatics, Administrative and Financial Sciences, and Health Sciences. The Branch Website provides necessary information about Academic Programs and Scientific Degrees available for students and for those who take interest in the University and in studying at its Al-Madinah Al- Munawara Branch. It also provides information about the Academic Staff and Management Employees in both male students and female Students Sections. In addition to the provision of information, the Website provides several services as well as news and activities about the Branch, the study plans, and extracurricular activities.
